When he became an amputee at the age of fifteen, it sparked Phillip Peters' interest in prosthetics. After years of involvement in prosthetics and orthotics, Phillip decided to open his own practice in Easley in 1998. His goal remains the same today as it was then – to help patients be as active as possible and enhance their quality of life. By 2012, Advanced Prosthetics had grown to 12 offices throughout South Carolina. Today, there are 13 offices with the opening of our first office in North Carolina located in Gastonia.
Our services include prosthetics, orthotics, diabetic shoes, compression stockings, and mastectomy products. The company now has over 40 employees throughout the Upstate and Midlands that are passionate about their work and continue to raise the bar. If you would like to meet some of our practitioners, click here. This includes 7 employees that are amputees, which is an invaluable resource to our patients. Our amputee employees can empathize with our patients and relate to their hardships and experiences. It also gives patients confidence that they are in good, qualified hands. Advanced Prosthetics takes pride in quality patient care with a personal touch. We are Amputees Serving Amputees!
