Certified Prosthetist, Board-Eligible Orthotist

Bio

Caitlin Peters is the newest clinician to join the Greenville office. She has experience working with patients of all ages, from newborns to adults in their nineties.  She earned her Master’s in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, completed her prosthetics residency at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Michigan, and her orthotics residency at Shriners Children’s Hospital in Greenville, SC.

Caitlin’s passion for helping patients regain function and confidence is unmistakable. Her goal is to help every patient not only live but truly thrive—whether that means returning to hobbies, enjoying time with family, or engaging fully in community life. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is seeing people walk for the first time in years. Caitlin loves helping and playing a small part in each patient’s journey to regaining function and enjoying life more. She believes in compassionate, patient-centered care—making sure every patient feels heard, supported, and empowered.

    Personal Interests

    • What are your interests or hobbies outside of work? I love being outside hiking or kayaking. I also love being inside reading and painting.  I am a jack of all trades, master of none type. I just love activities in general, doesn’t really matter what.
    • Do you have a favorite quote or motto that guides you? I think “Love your neighbor as yourself” is a big motto for me. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, I’m excited to get to work with you and help you reach your goals.
    • What do you love about being part of this practice? I love how rewarding it is. Nothing beats the feeling of providing a device that helps someone live without pain or live life a little fuller. I love that every patient is so different and requires a different approach. It’s a very dynamic field that keeps me on my toes.
    • Any fun facts you’d like patients to know? I have 3 animals at home, a German Shepherd and two cats. I will probably ask about your pets and kids/grandkids during our appointment, so please be ready with pictures if you have them.
