Billing and Insurance:
At Advanced Prosthetics, we are dedicated to empowering you with the financial counseling and resources necessary to make informed decisions about your care. We strive to simplify the billing and insurance processes. To that end, we will provide you with information about insurance verification, estimates of costs associated with services, details regarding your financial responsibilities, and payment options prior to receiving any services when applicable. These options may include payment plans, credit card payments, or other arrangements to meet your needs.
Insurance Information
Understanding your insurance coverage is key. Most of the orthotic and prosthetic services provided by Advanced Prosthetics are covered by health insurance, including Medicare Part B. However, the amount of coverage available varies based on your specific insurance plan.
Be prepared for some out-of-pocket costs. In most cases, a percentage of patient responsibility must be paid when the orthosis or prosthesis is delivered. The exact amount depends on your insurance and the device you are receiving. Keep in mind that insurance plans may have benefit maximums and only cover up to a certain amount for a specific service.
Advanced Prosthetics is in-network with more than 500 insurance providers, ensuring you get the highest coverage possible under your plan. We understand that not everyone's insurance provider is in-network with us, but that won't stop us from providing you with the orthotic or prosthetic services you need. Even if you're not in-network, we'll still assist you, although you may be responsible for a larger percentage of the cost, subject to the out-of-network rate set by your insurance plan.
Here's what to expect when you provide us with your insurance information. Our experienced office staff will verify your benefits with your insurance carrier to determine the coverage available for your orthotic or prosthetic services. They will also obtain prior authorization from your insurance company if needed. After this, our staff will provide you with an estimate of the portion of the costs before your orthotic and prosthetic service is provided. Please note–that a prescription is required for most services.
Medicare Processing
Our team possesses a deep knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes. We are here to assist you with any questions you may have regarding eligibility, bills, deductibles, and Medicare notices, ensuring you have a clear understanding of your options.

Financial Assistance
Insurance often does not cover the entire cost of orthotic and prosthetic care, but there are organizations that are available to assist. For further information or questions, please contact our office to discuss options.
