Ken Gavin, CO, M.H.A, M.E.D

Bio

Ken is a Certified Orthotist with more than 30 years of experience in orthotics and prosthetics. Born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, he has devoted his career to providing orthotic care and serving as a healthcare leader. Over the years, Ken has published in the field, sharing his expertise with colleagues nationwide. Today, he serves as President of Advanced Prosthetics as well as President of our parent company, MIH, and its subsidiaries. He brings a wealth of knowledge, steady leadership, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care.

Ken is guided by the motto, “Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and out.” He is proud to lead a team that demonstrates both experience and professionalism, while always putting patients first. At Advanced Prosthetics, Ken values the commitment and compassion that define every patient interaction, with care that is always personalized to meet each individual’s unique needs.

Outside of work, Ken enjoys hiking, gym workouts, family activities, and walking his dog, Apollo. He is married with a son and daughter-in-law and treasures time with them and his granddaughter.

Fun fact: Before beginning his orthotics and prosthetics career, Ken served as a police officer for seven years — and he is also a licensed private pilot.
