Patient Care Coordinator Supervisor
Lydia is a Certified Orthotist who has been practicing with Advanced Prosthetics for three years. She earned her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Furman University, where she also played volleyball, before completing her Master’s in Orthotics and Prosthetics at Northwestern University. After graduation, she returned to Advanced Prosthetics to complete her Orthotic Residency and has been part of our clinical team ever since. Lydia is now our Patient Care Coordinator Supervisor helping car for patients every step of their journey.
Lydia’s passion for orthotics and prosthetics began in middle school when she wore a back brace for scoliosis. That personal experience inspired her to pursue a career helping others regain comfort, mobility, and independence.
Outside the office, Lydia enjoys cheering on the Furman Lady Paladins volleyball team, running with her dog Roxy, and exploring downtown Greenville’s restaurants. She also loves strolling along the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
One of her favorite parts of working with patients is getting to know their stories and seeing how their lives change with the help of the devices she provides.
Fun fact: Lydia combined her love for sports and health sciences by playing collegiate volleyball while earning her degree at Furman.
