Miriam Peters, CEO

Bio

Miriam Peters began her career at Shriners Hospital, where she found joy in working with children and their families. She spent ten years gaining valuable experience in the orthotics and prosthetics field before joining Advanced Prosthetics. As the previous owner of the practice and now its Chief Executive Officer, Miriam has helped guide the company through years of growth and change, expanding access to high-quality care while staying true to the mission of improving patients’ mobility and independence.

Miriam is guided by the motto, “It costs nothing to be kind and it affects people in ways you may never even know.” That belief shapes both her leadership style and her approach to patient care. She loves being part of a practice that helps people get and stay mobile, enhancing their quality of life. What started as a small team has grown into a trusted regional practice — a testament to both demand and dedication.

Outside of the office, Miriam enjoys biking, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.

Fun fact: Miriam’s love for the outdoors often inspires her leadership retreats — she believes the best ideas come during a bike ride or hike.
