Misty Mahaffey has been with Advanced Prosthetics for two years and brings two decades of healthcare experience to her role as Office Administrator. She helps keep the office running smoothly by overseeing patient flow, handling insurance verification and authorizations, managing returns, and supporting patients every step of the way.

Misty believes great patient care begins with the very first phone call. As one of the first points of contact, she understands the importance of making a positive first impression and setting the tone for a patient’s experience. She loves working in a team environment where everyone shares the same goal—providing the best possible care for every patient.

Outside of work, Misty enjoys reading and spending quality time with her husband and boys. A fun fact that often surprises people? She has a rescued bearded dragon named Hank, who she jokes “runs the household.”
