Phillip Peters, CP

Bio

Phillip Peters is a South Carolina native and graduated from the old Parker High School. He grew up with a strong spirit and has faced many challenges. He had spinal meningitis as an infant, broke neck at 14 years old diving into shallow pool and was told he would never use his arms again. At the age of fifteen, he had his leg amputated after having a sports related injury (Read more here).  However, he battled through his challenges and ultimately started in the O&P industry as a technician and eventually becoming a practitioner. In 1998, he boldly ventured out to start his own prosthetics company after being displeased with other company's in the area.

• What are your interests or hobbies outside of work?  I enjoy fishing and hunting. For years, I raced cars and owned my own Advanced Prosthetics race car. 
• Do you have a favorite quote or motto that guides you?  “If you ain't first, you're last." 
• What do you love about being part of this practice? "It's really incredible to see where things have gone. I just started hoping to help people."
