With more than 16 years in healthcare and over 8 years with Advanced Prosthetics, Stephen Sumter plays a vital role as the liaison between the practice and the Veterans Affairs Hospital. His work ensures seamless communication and support for veterans, helping them receive the care and devices they need.

For Stephen, the most rewarding part of his job is seeing the joy on the face of a new amputee who once believed they would never walk again. Moments like these fuel his passion for patient care and reinforce his belief that great care comes from understanding, listening, and showing genuine compassion.

Stephen values the close-knit, welcoming atmosphere at Advanced Prosthetics, which he describes as having the feel of a small, family-oriented practice.
